The Black Fog

One morning, I stepped outside my cabin to take my ritualistic hike out in the woods.  The mornings usually spoke a language so symbolic words seem ineffable. The wind’s zephyr placed me in the happiest of places; the wind’s language always had this hypnotic power.  I could hear the wind whispering to me, but not many people understand its words.  It’s blatherskite to those who don’t understand, as these are usually the ones in personal turmoil continuing to live life in their adverse ways.  These things I automatically ignore and banish.

I walk languidly on this path that was once full of grass until I created a line-sized path that basically points the direction to my domain. As I walk along, I could see the trees covering the sun dimming its light. It gave me the proper lighting to guide myself into the terrain of the woods further ahead. I have a treehouse resembling a small home built a half-mile deep in the woods.  This is my sanctuary; this is the place where I do my soul-searching to be a part of nature, to exercise my awareness, let alone clear my mind and thoughts. This is where I take a spiritual caravan from time to time. It is to learn to become the helm of all that possesses and inherits me.  It is very important for me to gain control of my body, mind, and spirit. It is more than a vacation to me; it is a sabbatical.  There are many times  I’d rather stay here than leave, but I also understand the real-world needs me, and I have missions to accomplish.

Enjoying and taking in all the picturesque scenery the woods had to offer, something most would find sinister and unusual happened. The air suddenly began to turn black all around me  It appeared in a smoky, lingering formation wrapping itself around me.  The visit from this black, smokey fog wasn’t quondam.  When it first appeared to me, it caused me such trauma. I used to believe something evil came inside me and it was going to make me do something terrible. I used to think this fog caused me incessant torture creating a din inside my head that seemed like a mind game. I believed in the delusion that it was a force wanting to come and take control of my body. After I awoke years later and now see things as they really are, I learned this not sensible and highly unlikely.

Once I understood the language of the black fog, I grew to love its company.  I let its smoky black appearance hover and encircle my body giving me such ticking sensations.  I giggle like a little girl having a good time.  To most people, the color black itself represents death and doom.  Many people disregard and refuse to see such things, but perceptions alter in everyone.  Sometimes, death and doom don’t mean an ending of one’s time.  It can mean transition, transformation, and regeneration.  The visits remind me of how I am learning, growing, and changing.  I always feel we must kill a part of ourselves to move on to the next and better stage of us.  My father always told me to watch for those that appear to be ichthyophagous because it is these kinds that can end up feeding you instead of the fish.  My dear old dad was always a samurai when it came to words of wisdom, I suppose.

Once I understood the reasons for the frequent visits from the black, smoky fog, I now let its presence coil around me like a constricted snake.  It always suffocates what no longer serves me away.  Its visit removes me from being prone to the personal yada, yada, yada others attempt to project onto my aura giving me funky karma.  Once I opened my eyes and realize how I was poisoning myself, I took the power back spang on.

The fog doesn’t stick around for a long time. The visit lasted fifteen minutes,  but the longest it lingered me was nearly an hour some time ago.  Once the fog did its magic on me, I slowly continued walking to my treehouse to go straight to the bedroom to record the events of this black fog visit as I do with every single one.  I lay down on the bed feeling light-headed and euphoric. These reactions are completely normal, but you must relax rest, and center yourself.  It is an action very feasible.  Not only did this smoky, black fog constrict away what is no longer useful; it cleanses all the negativity away.

Everyone will not always perceive the same thing, and what is visualized through your imagination can become true if you perceive it to be that way.  The trick is learning how to make sense of all the symbology and scenarios behind it. These creative visualizations will make the ideas transform into reality, and one must be careful. Keep your intentions true and convincing.  These creative visualizations must come from you and you only. It is always important to keep an open mind to avoid the patterns that are catching to avoid the humdrum.  Versatility is the season of existence.

My treehouse is a house of magic wonder.  All mysterious visions, events, and perceptions all come from here.  There is no reason to fear the black, smoky fog.
